Final score: 100-97 Cavs

So I woke up at around 9am on Sunday morning and got ready for the Wizards game. Jo and I had been very excited all week! I picked him up, treated Jo to some food and we got on the metro to Chinatown, where the Verizon Center is. It was pretty hectic on the metro because there were so many games going on that day. For the whole day I had to cling to Jojo because crowds are very overwhelming for me, especially since I can't see over anyone most of the time. There was a slightly stressful situation with my metro Smartpass card not working, as well as a few other peoples' Smartpasses not working. I wouldn't have known what to do with myself if Jojo weren't there to guide me through the crowds and get someone to help me.
Anyways, enough about the damned metro, we finally got to the packed box office to pick up our tickets at will call at around 12:40. I passed by the Geico gecko when we were walking on our way to find our section and the gecko and I both freaked out about each other. I totally should've gotten a picture =/. We finally got to our seats in section 112, row F. Right across from the Cavaliers bench, boo! When we got there, we had to get past two Cavs fans who were already in their seats - a bf and gf. And much to my dismay, my seat was right next to them! Gah! Will there be tension later (given all the history that goes with the Wizards and Cavs, especially the 'feuding' between Lebron and Deshawn)?? We'll see...

Onto the pics! Sorry, most of em are blurry! But first! Since I suck at explaining things, this will explain the whole Lebron/Deshawn drama:
Okay, now you understand? Okay, let's continue...

Both teams still warming up before the game starts. This was basically our view, and Jo and I were freakin out about how close we were for like the first 10 minutes.

The majority of the Cavs fans got seats near the Cavs bench. And unfortunately, some also got seats in my section... next to me. And also, one right behind Jojo.

There goes our boys!! You see all the Hair Cuttery shirts because they provided and sponsored the event with all the white shirts for the white-out.

Wizard muppet mascot type guy. I dunno what they call him.

Basically what our view looked like again. The camera kinda made it look like we were sitting farther. Jo has been to a couple other games in the past, each of which he progressed to sitting a little closer each time. Yes, he was in the nosebleed section at one point. See that? Horrible! Not even worth going to a game for! It's all or nothing, man! I told him, next time he goes to a game he's gonna have a floor seat with me. =)

"Hiyooo! I'm heeere! Oh, and yeah, the Wizards are too!" XD I refused to wear the provided playoffs shirt because it was way too big for me. And my hair was really amazing in the morning, but it since then deflated and got frizzified O_O

O, Jo's here too! Sporting his playoffs shirt and holding up the Chipotle sponsored playoff towel, which I so kindly cut off of the picture.
During the game, I had my camera in my right hand and my towel in the left so that I can twirl it during a good play. The Cavs fan next to me was really freakin tall and if I stretched my arm all the way out and twirled my towel it would probably meet his face. I probably almost hit him a few times with it.

BOOOOOO YOU SUCK!!
Nah, they actually don't.

IT'S STARTING!!! LAKSFJALDKFJADLF!!! They had a drumline playing and a dude played the Star-Spangled Banner on his uh.. clarinet, was it? O_O I dunno..
I took a video of them introducing the Wizards players, but it's so not worth posting right now because, like I told you, I had my camera in one hand and my towel in the other. Every time they introduced a player (especially Caron Butler.. mmm) I would freak out and wave my towel around. So you'd just see the player coming out and then lots of camera shaking.. and hearing me cheer haha! But the video can be found here if you're so inclined.. just for kicks and laughs.

Darn digital zoom in dark lighting!

Another shot of our view looking up.

And the game has started!

Starters:
CLE: LeBron, Delonte, Wally, Z, Ben
WAS: DeShawn, Gilbert, Antawn, Brendon, and delicious Caron
White men can jump! Check out Szczerbiak! Woman in front of me ruined my shot of Caron with her towel.
Haywood's a freakin giant! Jojo saw him at EBgames and totally didn't even get an autograph. Loserr!
I did a little more research before the game because I'm still a noob. But most of the research was on Caron... maybe all of it. But I found out that Eddie Jordan nicknamed Caron "Tough Juice"! I was so freakin excited!! It was meant to be!! I printed out one of my eat juice logos to bring to the game just in case there were a chance at a picture taking opportunity with Caron.. I'm not sure how exactly it works.. meeting the players and all. But in the end we ended up not meeting them. I would have asked Caron if he could hold up my eat juice sign.

There he is! Yayy! Oh, and I liked that kid's sign to the bottom left. It says "crybaby waaah" and I think it has King James crossed out. Yeah, we didn't make a sign of our own because we didn't have enough time =(. We didn't make it on tv! Although Jojo's arm waving his towel did.. O_O

Yeah, whenever Caron came near our section I started snapping away. "Hmm? Yeah, I know Delonte has the ball... but I don't care about him right now". I made a few comments about the... thing that's growing near Delonte's lips, and I felt bad cuz I made a bitter and rude comment about the possibility of it being herpes. But I know there's people out there who have serious health conditions and I'd hate it if someone were to make assumptions like that about me. I don't care if I'm on the other team, it's just not cool making fun of someone like that.

Mm. I like Caron.

Local WPGC 95.5 radio host playing some jams for us. He was set up in front of our section, near the tunnel.

Nice action shot.
The tall ass Cavs fan sitting next to me was very belligerent. Curse words and all. It was really bothering me because the people in front of us had a kid, who was hiding inside his playoffs shirt the whole time. I hate when people are inconsiderate about the way they talk around children. He was really loud, and his clapping was deafening.
The guy next to me kept dissing DeShawn, saying "who the fuck is Stevenson?! He's just another high school drop-out and needs to go back to school!" Umm... I don't really know what that has to do with anything, but I was sure that what he said is false. And it indeed was! Because the dad of the kid in front of me totally schooled him, telling him that DeShawn and LeBron went to the same college. Oooh, FACE!!
I wish I could be educated enough about basketball and all the players so that I could make smart comebacks.
Ever since then, the guy next to me calmed down and didn't talk so much. And for the rest of the game I clapped as loud as I could... into his ear. Haha!! He seemed bothered by it.

I believe this was during a time out called by the Wizards. One Wizards fan was given the chance to win everyone in his row pizzas if he could make a free throw. He didn't make it, so we were asked if there was anyone else who could do a slam dunk, and if they can, they'll win everyone in the stadium pizzas! And out popped Gheorghe Muresan!

He did a slam dunk and of course he didn't even have to jump much.

Everyone went home with coupons for 2 large Papa John's pizzas for $13.99. Later on this week Jo and I are going to celebrate him finishing his finals by getting pizza and eating the Cinnabon we weren't able to eat with Nikki and Ellison when we had dinner together on Saturday.

He took his shirt off and threw it to my section, where some lucky dudes in front of us caught it. Don't worry, he had another shirt on underneath! A white one, at that! Keepin with the white-out!

My feet weren't able to touch the floor. I'm not sure if that's obvious in this picture.

Jojo tries to take our picture for us. He fails for looking like he's concentrating so damn much.

Yeah, you chew that straw, Caron. Mmm.

Shooting around during half time. And I see Nick Young! Yayy!!! I love watching him play. Cuz he's funny!

Okay, my turn at taking our picture for us. Whoops, I forgot to zoom out after that last shot.

There you gooo! I should've just asked the people behind us to take our picture, huh?

They're still shooting around. But look, it's the back of Caron's head. Ooooooh.

Okay, let's play ball!

The two giants, Haywood and McLovin. HAHA!! Whenever Haywood does a play it seems like it's in slow motion... cuz he doesn't have to move so much... cuz he's large.

Jojo spotted Biz Markie behind the east basket. I forgot the name of the other basketball player to his right, and your left. Clinton Portis of the Redskins was also sitting with them. Dunno why I didn't take a picture of him.

G-Man and his crew doing stunt dunks during one of the time outs.

I believe this was the last shot made by Arenas. It missed.

And the game is soon over. And the stupid Cavs fan next to me had the last laugh. I probably wouldn't have been as disappointed about the loss if I wasn't sitting next to a rude Cavs fan and his snotty gf who kept giving me the stink eye. I'm not the kind of person who would be that rude to a rivaling team. I honestly think that we could've somehow gotten along if they showed more sportsmanship.

Interviews.
On the way home I just sulked. That guy next to me kind of ruined my mood.
Jojo has basically given up on the Wizards, even though they have two more games left in Cleveland. He's already moved on to the Redskins, now that he's excited about their draft pick from Hawaii. He doesn't even care to watch game 5 tonight.
I, on the other hand will be watching!!
Hmm I just realized that all the people we saw at the game that we actually know are all Filipino.

Hmm I just realized that all the people we saw at the game that we actually know are all Filipino.
Wizards fans, including myself kept yelling "overrated" whenever LeBron had the ball. I honestly don't really think he's overrated. I think he's a good player. But he is very cocky and he even put himself up on a pedestal, comparing himself to a legend like Jay-Z. And that's why I don't like LeBron. Even Michael Jordan wasn't cocky. Sure, he had his gametalk, but he doesn't talk down about others in an unprofessional manner. This is the freakin NBA, come on now!! Even if LeBron was on my team I'd still be disappointed in him and embarrassed to have someone like him on my team.
I'm disappointed in Jay-Z too! I think all that trash talk in his freestyle diss against Stevenson was unnecessary. He has nothing to do with basketball. I've lost respect for him. Then again, Gilbert made a good point that they should be honored that DeShawn is even mentioned by Jay-Z. But still... aslkdfjasldfk

This is all very frustrating. Now I really can't wait to see what goes down in the game tonight.
